1. Affirmative (Positive Sentences)

We use the present simple to describe daily routines and general truths.

It’s the same for I, you, we, they.

The Form:

Subject (I/You/We/They) + Verb + …

2. Negative

To make negative sentences, we use don’t (do not) + base verb.

The Form:

Subject (I/You/We/They) + do not (don’t) + Verb + …

⚠ Important

We say “don’t have”, not “haven’t”.
