Reading text: Shopping and getting around in London

London is a busy and exciting city. Many people visit it for shopping and sightseeing.

When you travel around the city, you often need to ask questions. If you drive, you can ask, “Can I park here?” In some streets, you can park for free, but in others you can’t. Clear signs help you know where you can leave your car.

London is famous for its shopping streets and markets. You can walk along long streets full of shops, or you can visit open markets. You can buy clothes, shoes, souvenirs, and gifts. In many shops, you can ask about the price and the size. The shop assistants are usually friendly and helpful.

After shopping, you can take a break. You can sit in a café, have a drink, and watch people. You can also walk in a nearby park or meet friends. In London, you can enjoy shopping and relax at the same time, which makes the city a great place to visit.
